Think Ward did more harm than good not playing. Not playing due to injury prevention and draft preparation is one thing. Playing a half to break a personal record then sit out out watching on the sideline while your team loses by one in a bowl game is pretty damaging. Now you need to answer to nfl teams whether you are truly a team player and not chasing stats. Buying diamond chains is cool and good PR but when push came to shove and the team needed you the most you disappeared

Watching the game live my thought was that this was planned by the coaches; Cam was playing the first half and Emory was going to play the second half so they can see what they have for next year. Why’s that so difficult to understand.

Assuming this is true, like I’ve speculated, there was an agreement that Cam would play a half. We’re lucky he agreed to that. Martinez played and got hurt. It may be minor but the risk in these bowl games is not one a number of players take who can afford to opt out.

He also told me xstrepo asked for $100,000, but they would not pay him, so he didn't play. If true its sad because he deserved it.
