Without Cam Ward we lose the last 2 games. Perfection ? There is no perfection when there are 10 other players who need to execute on plays. I cant recall a Miami team maybe including our great natty teams that can come back from the deficits against va tech and cal like the team just accomplished. Not only did Ward get the offense to step up but he also goat the D as poorly as they played to step up.

OMG so many receipts in this thread. Yeah Cam isn't Elite even though he's top 3 in Heisman and just threw for 430 yards and brought his team back from 25 points down.

Yes, this schtick won't work against the best teams, but enjoy the ride. He is special and single-handedly has made this the most entertaining Canes team to watch since 2017, and probably since the early 2000's.

Actually quite opposite it showed that he doesn't get rattled and that he can lead his team out of the most difficult situation. The the NFL is drooling over his potential.

Do you see what teams in the NFL roll out after the first 25 or so QBs in the league? **** 17-25 ain’t really **** if we keeping it a buck. Cam will get drafted high because his potential is that high, red flags be damned. It’s the most important position as well as the toughest to play in the game.

I can live wirh that by and large but I'm not putting him in the elite category yet. I'm sure that will ruffle a bunch of feathers here, but have I ever cared?

The reason I'm still on the fence is due to the last couple of performances. Some of his decision making has put us in a poor situation. Sure, the defense hasn't helped at all, but with the good there's been some bad for certain.

He's fun to watch though, no question. Happy to have him, but I want to see how the rest of the season plays out. He can make things happen and has the ability to make every throw. Just limit the mistakes, throw it away sometimes, secure the ball better, and yes, take what's there on occasion.

Yea he has alot of bad habits but he’s definitely an elite college qb. 90% of the college qbs have similar flaws as him but 90% or more cant do what cam does
