It’s the golden era all over. All the way down to the fancy coach speak and eggs laid on the field.

I think the questions of Joe are valid for his position group. I also think we’re spoiled. Think about what we’ve done since the conclusion of a five and seven season. It’s quite remarkable. I do feel as if we have taken a step back when it comes to the portal in comparison to Manny’s years, but that was just the way Manny did business. Mario has shown he operates differently. He stated that he needed to tackle the portal more aggressively this year, and I don’t know if that’s exactly happened. I guess the thing is is that we see names, and Mario sees fits. We see Wease or we see Cephas and we say throw them money. The one thing we aren’t allowed access to is what is Mario sees.

Apparently the coaches were surprised by Darrell Jackson's departure? Maybe they recruit the position harder all year if they didn't know they wouldn't have him next year.

Not making excuses for him because he has absolutely not filled the DT role spot well but he coaches well and has recruited other positions well.

Mario recruits a higher level then any other coach. He gets OL, and helps with a lot of recruits. He can’t carry recruiting for every position, at the end of the day Joe gotta recruit DTs better
