Out of curiosity, how did he tamper specifically?

We "knew" Tyrique was coming at least a month before he even entered the portal.

Technically, initiating any contact with an enrolled athlete, direct or indirect, is considered tampering.
 
The NCAA is letting all of this happen most likely out of spite. Theyytrying to pretend like they had some stranglehold into the cleanliness of college football.

It looks like they’re basically letting everything happen so people will have no recourse but to beg them to step in and regulate this mess.

The fact of the matter remains that they were kept in business because of the blue bloods and frontrunner programs. And they did everything they could to make sure that the status quo was intact.

The reason people didn’t want them around is because it was so blatantly obvious that they only wanted to enforce programs that were not in bed with them.
While other programs had players that were broke, Bama’s parking lot and all the front Runner parking lot’s were full of brand, new cars and trucks.
And despite countless people bringing this up, they chose to look the other way.

I almost choked on my soda when I was reading the suckey tears thread saw those fans say “we’re not gonna play by the rules anymore”. That to me had to be the funniest sht I’ve ever heard coming out of a front runner Fanbase in a long time.

Basically started crying from maybe November about not having any rb depth, how he needed a real back,e tc...it was known early on Gibbs was bouncing outta GT and headed there. He entered the portal end of november and was locked into bama real quick.

He chose GT over Bama and UGA initially so that was expected

Its the same as Tyrique was.
 
I read a lot of boards.. Amazing how many schools are monitoring specific players that have not hit the portal yet.

Why do so many people cry about this 'tampering' term? Since NIL came about, this tampering bull**** has been thrown around relentlessly. Just a couple of years ago the 'bagman visit' basically engulfed the NIL and Tampering into one phrase.....I guess its a new era but still the same crybabies.

NIL, Tampering, etc., this **** has been going on for years. Who gives a ****?

We all know the NCAA picks and chooses who to rake over the coals. At the end of the day, money talks, and UM has been doing a lot of talking in the last 18 months or so.
