This one isn't complicated and doesn't require paragraphs.

Why do we have such whiny, pussified fans? Man up and stop crying, and that's not limited to you. Plenty of soft-shouldered babies on this board complaining about not having a shot with various recruits.

Man up lol. There’s no tough position to take on a message board. Might save you years of your live realizing that.

What does your wife say when she sees you sparing with strangers on here for the 50k time?

Maybe both of you should understand you are just not that important, please exit stage left

If he don't quit basketball and focus solely on football i wouldn't want him tbh. These kids think they can do multiple sports are out of their minds. Definitely keep recruiting him but Definitely don't put all your eggs in that basket from what he's been saying

Our basketball team is ***. If they bring him on as a 12 man on the bench and he plays for a year or two i really dont care. The ones that are good at footballe eventualy give up hoops and focus on football ful time anyway. Julius Peppers, Nuk Hopkins, Keon Coleman etc

No way this guy isn’t a Cane. We have Nickel and Coleman in the pipeline as his QBs. WRs put up effing numbers in this offense. And our NIL pays. And we have the sentimental factor ie mom is a Cane. This is a layup for Mario. Next.

I didn't say not to tell him if he comes its football only. He needs to make that decision himself. Of course he could play for our basketball team but is that really in his best interests? Absolutely not. Kids already starting his excuses as to why he doesn't wanna play here when he has every reason to stay and play here at home including family ties to the school

I’m all for **** talking (TOC and cway are both among my favorite posters)… but think spouses should be left out of the discussion

Cross off that elite top south Florida kid from the list from the jump. It’s really time to stop doing it to ourselves. Duke Johnson is the only real exception dating back to Coker.

We have a better shot at any kid in the nation vs star south Florida prospects. They’re just wired to get far away from home

You're really ignoring a bunch of elite south florida kids for absolutely 0 reason...and before you muster up some dumb **** rebuttal I'll go ahead and list some:

Tracy Howard
Stacey Coley
Ahmmon Richards
Nesta
Mark Pope
Lorenzo Lingard
Gurvan Hall
Leonard Taylor
James Williams
Ruben Bain
Zaquan Patterson

Yes, we have a lot of misses. But we have definitely landed kids that were very highly recruited and considered "can't miss" prospects coming out.

I think you know the type I’m talking about

Cook, JJ Smith, Stewart, Stevenson, Surtain, Campbell, Jeudy, Bosa, Ridley, Matt Thomas, Collins, Watkins, Joyner, Pat Peterson, Elam, Cooper.

The Elite, jewel of the class SF recruits we run across the entire nation is gunning heavy for.

Name one person on that list that wasn't targeted by all of the big 3 + Bama, UGA, michigan, tenn, literally any big school that matters. I forgot to even add Chad Thomas to that list

Leonard is the only one from your list that was arguably the "top elite SF kid". I'm talking about the cream of the crop. If you disagree and think we've been just fine with that type of kid then we can just stop it there. Agree to disagree

James Williams, the top ranked Safety in the nation, wasn't the cream of the crop?
I'm not saying we've been fine, but you just unnecessarily downplayed some elite, heavily recruited dudes we've had just because they didn't pan out to a top 3 round grade. Plus its weird that you listed some guys that weren't even the best kid in south florida their year, but you don't want to count guys like Mark Pope who was "the next Amari Cooper" or Chad Thomas who was just as heavily recruited as Shemar Stewart. Lorenzo Lingard was supposed to be a savior and huge win over UF, a classic Mark Richt RB who mimic'd the tradition he had at UGA.

You're so convinced that we don't land these cats...tell me, have we really done so much better recruiting the "cream of the crop" players that AREN'T in south florida? So we should give up on recruiting top 10 players from South Florida because we've done so much better with out of state ones?

Go and look at the top players that we DID land....you'll notice that 40% of the highly recruited ones we DID land (since 2010) just happen to still be from south florida.

Go look at the top #1 unanimous kid from South Florida in each class. We haven't done well is putting it very lightly.

Ok we've landed Mark Pope and Gurvall Halls of the world... Doesn't change what i'm saying. You're more than welcome to go into these battles feeling confident, I'm just not going to be a part of the meltdown.

Wasn't Lingard from somewhere near Orlando? Not really SFL at all.
