Calling Lucane

one other thing 90 Kamalu was on skate...
push 10 yards down field
Kamalu was suppose to set the edge :FAIL

Kamalu was NOT supposed to set the edge. He's INSIDE the Tight-End. He cannot be an edge setter. It's physically impossible.

Kamalu is a non-factor by default, by his alignment.

Go watch Pitt's first TD and look at our pre-snap alignment.

Pitt had a TE and 2 WR's on the same side. We had nobody over the TE to set the edge. We chose to walk out our OLB over the slot WR instead. SMH

Red carpet to the outside.

LMAO! When I saw that play yesterday I swear on everything I was thinking.....'Somehwere WildcatDefense is screaming to someone about our presnap alignment and having no one outside the TE's shoulder'

Early on in the game, I watched us bring in Mccord on a 1st down and slant. Like I said in the game thread, I'm really just looking for any indicators that the coaching staff is willing to experiment with alternatives that go against their tendencies. We all know they're aware of all their options. I've said dozens of times that I believe they're making a conscious decision with their style.

I repeatedly watch our guys get destroyed playing 2-gap, but I'm curious to see if they're any better when they're allowed to play a bit more aggressive. Maybe they'd look terrible. I don't know. My hope in watching games is to see things that may indicate future success. When I saw something that may mean they're willing to adjust. I excitedly mentioned it. That's all.

It's blatantly obvious that we can't 2-gap but we continue to line-up and run it every play despite the results. I've never seen anything like it. We haven't been able to stop the run for months but we continue to do the same things.

Will tell Mark D'o that
because the Pitt's TE just replace your DE 7 yards
down field with no help.
