Calais Campbell

did not reach his potential. peaked as a college player in his soph season and then it was double and triple teams the rest of the way and i dont think he cared much to beat those.

has turned into an above average nfl player and starter.

He's one of the best 3-4 ends in the NFL.

He doesn't seem to get mentioned that much anyone. People usually would mention Rusty, Mc Dougle, Stork etc..To be honest I don't think of him as a good/great cane but he really was lol...hope we have a successful season this year.

In 2006 he had 20.5 TFL with 10.5 sacks and 3 ff. If all the social media of today had been around then, he would have been nearly as hyped then as Clowney is now.

At times, a completely dominating football player.

Yep. After his sophomore year and that North Carolina game, I thought he would be the #1 overall pick. Once Hurtt replaced Palermo, he went to ****. Now that Campbell is in the NFL, he is who we thought he was.

One of the best 3-4 ends in the NFL should be a pro bowler this year and should of made it in 2011.. He's 26 he's coming into his prime years..

Yep, when Palermo was here Calais was one of the best players in CFB. Calais would be easily the best player on the D this year if you got sophomore year Calais.

The terrible S&C program and nutrition program at UM during that time, probably had more to do with stalling C. Campbells growth and performance here then anything else.
