Cager shows out at scrimmage, talks Rosier, receiver depth, and LSU

Rosier and all our QBs must be giddy. Richards, Thomas, Cager, Pope, Hightower, Homer, Dallas, Jordan, Mallory, Ezard ... we've got some playmakers! Just get it in their hands and ring up the scoreboard.

LC should be making catches like the one against ND on the regular. He's a physical freak that is not only the tallest guy out there but the highest jumper. Anytime there's a 1 on 1 opportunity, Malik should be able to just throw it up for grabs and let Cager make the play. Hopefully we get to see more of that this year. I'd love nothing more than. To see a Lawrence Cager breakout.
Yes...to the corner of the end zone

"sposed to"

Lol. I haven't heard that one in a while. That's some funny ****! When trying to type "sposed", my spell check was like "what the f'uck are you trying to say"
Mine tried to change it to deposed. I was like , naw back up. I know what I said.

That Wisconsin play wasn't his biggest play to me... the Notre Dame catch when he moss'd that clown was a beast move.

Was on a 4th down, too..

Man, Richt was not messing around that game. I recall at one point Herbie even remarked w some disbelief: "this is a Mark Richt offense?"

That catch he made vs Notre Dame was freakish, you not supposed to be jumping that high lol. You right we definitely need to see more of that this year.

People are always so eager for dudes to make an impact right away.... Look at Mike Jackson, look at LC, some players need a couple years of development before being the players we all thought they would become. I think Cager is going to have a monster this year. The only thing that could limit his production is the depth we have built. What a great problem to have.

"Who looks the fastest on film is probably Jeff Thomas," Dugans said. "He's a burner. You've got Mike Harley. Pope is right there. Surprisingly Evidence (Njoku) can run."

However, it is a surprise Njoku was mentioned. Njoku stands 6-foot-6, weighs 225 pounds, and has been recovering from a knee injury since he arrived on campus last season.

"He's just fighting through nagging injuries, but he's fine," Dugans said. "He's a big kid, a lot of upside. He can run. He's got long legs. The thing he does a great job is in the red zone is high-point the football so hopefully we can get him where he needs to be health-wise so he can help us out."

Miami has another tall receiver in 6-foot-3 freshman Dee Wiggins with good speed.

"Wiggins can run also," Dugans said.
Don't forget

i give cager props for wisconsin considering pass interference was legal that game, he played very well.

Let's all not forget who threw him the ball, rosier can be as great as he is frustrating. He made alot of superor throws last year. Alot of those touchdowns to berrios last year were excellent excellent throws, that bomb to berrios in the duke game was sweet. We already know what he did against Fsu. Like i said before, we can win it all with rosier and if he has improved just a lil bit, this offense is going to start being a nightmare for any and everybody. Coach richt, coach dugans, coach thomas and coach hartley, they not playing. Coach searels in all honesty is definitely not trying to be the weak link, he got more fired up on that Ahmon richards block/hit against Fsu than almost anybody i've seen. That block by Ahmon ranks up their with the best hits of all time in this game, especially when you factor in when the hit took place in regards to the game.[/QUOTE]
Yeah bro. Context is everything. Everytime a FSdoo fan tags me in the Cam akers vs redwine, i respond with the Ahmmon block.
That hit was game changing.

I will say this. I never ever thought I'd see you type " We can win it all with Rosier"

Wow, bold statement. As often as i align/agree with you. I just cant agree with you there.

Im hoping he has learned from the " i was going through the motions" bullshid he was talking after the Pitt game. That shid right there just irks me and its when i really lost it for him. THe starting QB at the University of Miami can not have that attitude. That is not a championship mindset. tis already bad enough he is limited physically.

i will agree with you on some of the throws. The kid has thrown some Dilfer dimes. he threw one in the Virginia tech game that was absolutely beautiful.

I did see a marked difference after the UNC game. He got terrible maybe it was the body slam onto his shoulder.

i dunno. We shall see

Yatil Geen played his way into becoming a first round pick purely on the ability to out jump defenders for lobs from Frank Costa. Unfortunate injuries killed his career before it got started but I'd like to see Cager take a page from Green's playbook.

You're right. He played one year with Costa but a majority of his work was with Clement. Either way it was some bum quarterback throwing it up for grabs and Yatil Green making a play.

Cager makes plays like this.....and then next play gets pushed around by a 150 lb CB.
