*** Cade Weldon Commits ***

Would rather have 7 OLinemen this class than 2 Qbs but we will see how numbers play out. Really shocked by this pick up, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I just think other recruits at different positions could potentially benefit us in terms of field production better than Weldon. Quality over quantity.

Kid is a stud and would love to keep him in the class. Call me crazy but I just may like him alittle more than perry. Based on little film so don't everybody go all crazy now

High probability of kayaa leaving with the major factor being a weak qb class nxt year. We need 5 scholly qbs at all times.

Big boy programs should always have five scholly qb . In case of injuries , transfers and off field issues . You pretty much are always recruiting that position .

That keeps you from having a Jacory then a Morris with no competition . It also protects you from having a Whipple at backup

You win games in the trenches, I do not trust our OLinemen just like I stated last year when people got upset and was talking like we had All Americans up front, like I said last year, Miami will not be a legitimate national power as in National title favorites until we get the big boys up front on the offense and defensive lines, I honestly think that's the only thing holding us back, we now have legit coaching. You can build a good d and o as a whole around good line play.

Great choice Cade. Once Uncle Mark and cousin Jon offered it was an easy choice. Always nice when a Free Shoes U legacy picks the University of Miami Hurricanes.
 
As long as Perry is ok with this(I'm assuming he is, I'm sure Coach Richt told him he wanted to take 2 this cycle) then it's an outstanding pickup. Live arm, good footwork, anticipation (you can tell his dad was a QB) and above average speed. He looks like he's capable of extending plays and picking up first downs with his feet when needed. Plus this is from his sophomore film. He will have a huge senior season. You can't get much better than a qb class of Perry and Weldon. Like others have said, we should be set at the position for years to come. Staff putting in work. SQUAD17 is off to a **** of a start.

He reminds me of a bigger stronger armed version of his dad. And his dad was an incredible QB at FSU. People kind of forget about him, but I think he finished second in the Heisman. If he has his dad's gameness we got a real gem.

Agree-he looks like a better runner and has a much stronger arm
 
Looks like Richt isn't making the same mistake he did at UGA, coming up short at QB several times.
 
Wow, when I first saw we were recruiting him, I aint gonna lie, I was like why waste your time. FSU legacy... Very nice pick up. Feels nice to finally have someone in charge that knows what the **** they are doing!
