2025 Byron Louis 4* RB from Heritage (Plantation) commits to the Noles

I don’t think anyone is saying Miami “lost” him because of bags. People are saying, why in the world, especially this early in the process, would you commit to that dumpster fire. It’s not like Miami and FSU are his only offers. I’m surprised he didn’t wait to the end. Either get the green light from Miami or go to another big time school. Kid is good, he has options. This screams “we will pay you $*** to commit early and make it look like we are still afloat”
maybe thats his choice and we arent putting true pressure like we are Wiley and Alford. Maybe we are ok with him going to fsu

I agree with your point, which is why I said the original poster is incorrect in saying we need to stop blaming “bags” like other fans.

Based on the info from D$, etc., I don’t not believe we lost him. He did make his own choice.

What I am questioning, is why/how he could make this choice at this time. It has to be “bags”. I clearly have orange and green glasses on, but what highly ranked player with his offer list (Georgia, Alabama, USC, etc.) looks at FSU and says “Yup! That’s the best program to be at right now!” So maybe Miami is ok with letting him walk, but he has more offers than just us and FSU. FSU is desperate for positivity so they opened the check book.

He doesn’t have a commitable offer from
Us. We are only taking Pringle… d$ has said this before
It’s a running back lol, people just giving those tears freely to fsu. This isn’t Saquaon Barkley bruh. All we have to do is wait and be patient till we see some lights out film from a rb then go after them.

Canes are recruiting at a high level. Can't sign them all. Louis is a good prospect. FSU is selling a lot of playing time right now. It is what it is. The portal will be full of dudes as well.

I don't know much about his game, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but Louis reminds me of the very thing @Memnon has been saying about a couple of the rbs on the roster now...bigger back; very little wiggle; lacks vision; and average speed. If that's true, I don't think he should be a take.

Give me the guy who can make the first person miss in the hole (pause) and then put the fear of God in the defense cuz he's always a threat to make a house call. That doesn't sound like Louis.

I think it’s because UGA and the elites aren’t begging or going all in on him. Pause

Huge red flag imo

DMoney has said for a while we were recruiting him but on the fence with him…And that UM was leaning towards only 1 RB.

Agree to disagree…this wasn’t an out of the blue commitment and like others have said in this thread FSU has led for him for awhile…again, other fans were questioning why kids were coming to Miami a “dumpster fire” and blaming it all on bags when we knew some of those kids that came regardless did so because they had love for the U

Hes solid back no where near Lyle level or even Pringle. But I was thinking rather save him from going from that **** show at FSU lol
let him go there were kids we got left with when we were a circus that never made a difference in wins and losses
