Dont know how i feel about this, but Rivals has an article that D.Bush is being tried out as CB? Is this good news or alarming to the progression of our current CB's? ANyone can hook it up with what the article says?

Suppozably Bush has been working some as the nickelback.

Nickelback. Sounds like the name of a rock band.

I'm 100% confident Bush starts the season as safety.

Not worried. He will start at safety. I think him getting some burn a CB helps him in his coverage skills.

Just nickel in certain situations. Not unusual.

After seeing him at safety, I love him there, but when we first got him I wanted him at CB. Higher upside there than anyone on the roster IMO.

Me too. He is by far and away our best secondary guy at the moment, so why not take the Honey Badger route and use him in as many roles as possible, depending on different situations?

Ed Reed used to play at CB during spring and fall camps. As a DB its good to know multiple positions. Playing devil's advocate though, i haven't heard much about Ladarius this spring so maybe the coaches are thinking Bush can slide down and pressure Ladarius, especially with Burns and Carter coming in and Jenkins looking good.

Probably trying him out in some Antrel Rolle type formations. I remember Rolle playing around the line of scrimmage more than a few times his last year and mixing in a lot of blitzing with him.

Got to love spring. Read 1 report and then jump to conclusions.

All versatile safeties play some nickel in certain situations.

E. Reed drops down and plays the nickel from time to time. Nothing alarming at all.
