Bush now starting over Rodgers (new depth chart)

I don't know whether to be really happy, or to burst into tears.

He deserves it though.
 
AJ Highsmith earned his spot. I would like to see Jenkins but I can't deny AJ Highsmith. He may not receive the most snaps during the game but Highsmith earned the right to start. Man he was laying the wood out there.

I like this new depth chart. A lot. Play the young ones and develop them, since its clear most of the upper classmen is not the answer.

Thomas Finne happened. Kid is balling out of his mind.

Our secondary is good. TE's and RB's are beating us thru the air. That's on LBer's and DE's needing to chip these guys at the line
 
Rodgers is a high character guy. Glad he got his oppertunity. Time for the real ****** now.

Raise your hands if you thought AJ Highsmith would start a game here.

Or Deon Bush would be starting SAFETY by week 3 (realistically, not that "the freshmen are the greatest at everything" stuff).

Not that Bush isn't ridiculously talented, or AJ isn't a solid player/teammate, but that **** is SMFH worthy.

Time to dig in and see what these other guys can do though.

AJ had a couple nice hits from what I saw. But you're right kid seemed destined to be a ST contributor at best, but of all kids I hope he steps up and plays out of his mind. Kid should have been a S here from day 1 but because of poor recruiting was stuck at QB for too long, hope he makes the most of his chance.

I have a feeling Bush will start this game and never look back the rest of the season. He is our most gifted safety in terms of physicality and speed.

AJH was bringing the wood on Saturday.
