With Simpson hire worth noting...7 kids among Georgia's top 85 according to 247 are from Buford High...Including a high 4* OT that has OSU in the lead (rather that then UGA leading if UM does indeed get involved). His name is Harry Miller

Of the 7, there are 4 OL, a RB, a DT, and a SSDE in the group. Think we would have to get involved with some of these trench guys being front 7/OL are the biggest needs on the team this year.

Looking more broadly at the top-rated DL in Georgia in the '19 class, we have:

1. Travon Walker, the #3 DT from Upson-Lee HS (no offer, uncommitted)
2. Rashad Cheney, #17 DT from Cedar Grove (no offer, uncommitted)

3. Chris Hinton, #1 SDE from Greater Atlanta Christian (offer, committed to Michigan)
4. Justin Eboigbe, #9 SDE from Forest Park (recently offered, uncommitted)
5. Dante Walker, #10 SDE from Riverdale (no offered, uncommitted)

6. Nolan Smith, #3 WDE from Georgia, now at IMG (offer, committed to Georgia)
7. Curtis Fann, #18 WDE from Emanuel County (no offer, uncommitted)

Perhaps we'll have a better chance with someone in this group.

Most of our DL will still probably be from in state this year - it's a strong group.

According to HUDL, they are coming down to play Deerfield Beach on 8/31!

Yup agree about in-state. Also i believe it was reported UM offered or at least is in contact w Cheney couple weeks back

There's also a sh*t ton of Defensive lineman coming out of Mississippi for this 2019 class, some really good ones too.

Yes I agree...Just found it interesting that this along with other year a few years back is probably the most loaded Buford team in the last 15 years, and interesting that we will be heavy on both lines this recruiting class...And they have 6 kids combined getting power 5 interest on the lines.

I'm with you, more for an extra kid or 2 each year in Georgia hopefully.
