Sorry, guy. Don Bosseler of the '50's was one of the greatest backs ever at UM. I've talked to guys who played against Bosseler and Jim Brown and say Bosseler was the better football player. UM didn't start playing football in the '70's.

About ten years ago, a south Florida rheumatologist, and UM fan, told me he was still treating a middle aged man for pain from an injury he suffered when Bosseler ran over him when we played South Carolina in the '50's. This guy could do damage to people.

Maybe he didn't run up a lot of yardage, but he was dominant and is one of our few RBs, perhaps our only one, who is in the College Football Hall of Fame.

Tough to disagree with this post.

Anderson is way too low. Should be at least 2 or 3. Unlike the others, Anderson was literally the only offensive weapon on his teams with opposing defenses strictly focusing on shutting him down. He carried those Canes teams to some major upsets late in his great career. Bratton is not above Anderson by any stretch.

Portis was on local radio earlier this week and they asked him to rank Duke. He didn't come out and blatantly say Duke would be better in the end but he did mention his numbers would be the best in history of UM.
