BTW....Jimbo still hasn't signed the extension that was....

Ive been told that jimbo is much like saban when it comes to loyalty, he goes wherever the money is greater

He has the same agent as saban

I dunno...for some reason, Jimbo just doesn't seem like a UT coach to me...I think he's a bit too country. Now, UT people can be country, but not deep-in-the-sticks, West Virginia hillbilly country. They're more big mega-ranch rich country. I just don't see him there.

Seems self-evident that Fisher is the leading candidate for Texas and that he wants the job. Texas is being very gracious by keeping this on the back burner until the BCS game is played but after that look for all **** to breakout. If, as many knowledgeable experts believe, Jimbo Fisher accepts the Texas job it will put FSU's recruiting in total disarray. It has to be assumed a number of Jimbo's assistant coaches go with him to Texas and then who does FSU hire with their severe budgetary restraints?

@ The Matador, I didn't see Mack Brown as a UTexas type coach either, 16 years ago. They made it work, though. Same with Jumbo. He may not look like a proper fit, but if they want him bad enough, then both sides can make it happen.
 
At least Al is not stupid and butchers the english language like are last coach. That boy could not put three words together to make a sentence. Nothing like having a ****** represent a major college university. Now he is Arkansas problem,thank God.

When he's offered ten million a year he'll be mega rich country
 
I would love to see jimbo go to texas but I dont see it happening. Hopefully our coaches are able to use it against them in the recruiting front. He is holding off to get FSU to increase the $$$$.

I for 1 do not think Fisher is leaving. He has a dynasty brewing up there. I think this is purely hype so he gets more money to stay at FSU. If we want to catch up to them, we need a coach like Petrino down here. If not, DO not see us beating them in Al's tenure.

If FSU wins the national championship, why would Jimbo leave FSU to start a rebuilding project in Texas? He is going to have another good opportunity to win back to back with an elite QB. And if FSU loses, why would Jimbo leave FSU to start a rebuilding project in Texas? He would be viewed as a loser running away.

Heres the thing about that, if texas gives him a really big offer FSU wont be able to match it, this all depends on how bad they want him
 
Why are ppl hating on country coaches??? Umm Jimmy and Butch were both Southerners, unlike our last 2 and current coach
