He's the most talented FOOTBALL PLAYER I've seen in a long time. Columbus couldn't generate any offense to save their life. Put him in the game and he went straight up top for a TD. Granted, our Safety had a brain fart and went the wrong way, but that CB that he blew by is a kid with P4 offers.

He played WR, RB, Safety, CB and returner.
He's a TEMU Deion Sanders.
Kid can do it all.

I think Safety is a no, but he can be elite at WR or CB eventually.
My only concern about CB is...
It's a very technical position...
And Columbus, while they are well coached, they play a ton of soft zone coverage on defense. It's one of the more passive schemes you'll find in South Florida and I've never seen Fitzgerald have to get in someone's face and be physical. OJ for example, has been playing an aggressive style of coverage his whole life, so the competitive transition to a being P4 CB was a little easier. Even the way Fitzgerald plays Safety is very passive. Columbus kinda just sits back and waits for 15-17 year old QB's to make mistakes.

Not saying he can't transition. Maybe I'm overthinking it. But those are my only concerns. Athletically there are absolutely no concerns.

YOUR CORRECT ON THIS. COLUMBUS KINDA PLAYS DEFENSE LIKE THEY DONT HAVE ATHLETES.

Soft covg and such but kid is ball hawking at safety.

Im in the mind i hope he is an early entry hes a kid u just sit at corner and teach, teach, teach all spring. I agree he will have to learn that physicality though Guidry doesnt have cbs jam to much they play up ian in face..OJ was very agressive and up in ya grill type cb this year even as a freshman.

I wouldnt wast e my time at safety. Put him at cb and give him a shot at returns. Dont need his mind thinking much more than how to pass off in zone, motion, and playing up. I think his football iq is high enough at cb that he would be a fast learner.

Comp is Brandon Mcgee.
