Poor man travis hunterCB or WR?
Poor man travis hunterCB or WR?
difficult comp, hes a powerful long strider with who runs by people looking like hes in slo mo, high level ball skills, tackling not his forteWho would you compare him to athletically?
Agree but the knock on him is he won’t tackle. 0 physicality is what has been said. Sounds like a wr.We need that playmaker ability at CB as well
laughing at temu deion sanders ... otherwise appreciate the input as alwaysHe's the most talented FOOTBALL PLAYER I've seen in a long time. Columbus couldn't generate any offense to save their life. Put him in the game and he went straight up top for a TD. Granted, our Safety had a brain fart and went the wrong way, but that CB that he blew by is a kid with P4 offers.
He played WR, RB, Safety, CB and returner.
He's a TEMU Deion Sanders.
Kid can do it all.
I think Safety is a no, but he can be elite at WR or CB eventually.
My only concern about CB is...
It's a very technical position...
And Columbus, while they are well coached, they play a ton of soft zone coverage on defense. It's one of the more passive schemes you'll find in South Florida and I've never seen Fitzgerald have to get in someone's face and be physical. OJ for example, has been playing an aggressive style of coverage his whole life, so the competitive transition to a being P4 CB was a little easier. Even the way Fitzgerald plays Safety is very passive. Columbus kinda just sits back and waits for 15-17 year old QB's to make mistakes.
Not saying he can't transition. Maybe I'm overthinking it. But those are my only concerns. Athletically there are absolutely no concerns.
YOUR CORRECT ON THIS. COLUMBUS KINDA PLAYS DEFENSE LIKE THEY DONT HAVE ATHLETES.He's the most talented FOOTBALL PLAYER I've seen in a long time. Sounds like the major key will be the scheme & the db coach whose teaching himHe's the most talented FOOTBALL PLAYER I've seen in a long time.
