Hmmmm....the moderators posted "Trolling & Personal Attacks" yet I get insults. We have millions of dollars to get QUALITY assistants and McClendon is not exactly what I'd expect based on our resources yet many here seem impressed, my question is simply why the idea he is a good hire? But I get insults instead of quality responses. I love what has happened so far and anticipate some top notch coordinators. Hope Bowl game timing is the reason for the delay.

You know **** well you weren't simply asking a question, You were trying to post something negative about a coach Cristobal hired because your boy Manny is no longer here.

Unreasonable assumption on your part. Manny is history as far as I am concerned and I support Mario even more than Manny since my only issues are about the Miami Hurricanes and progress. Do you have any concerns as to what I posted. We use this venue to evaluate and pray for success based on good decisions. So instead of assuming and insulting my comment, tell us why he is a great pick. I don't have time for insults but do have a problem with prejudice and assumptions. Grow up!

Your staff has to be elite recruiters across positions except at OC and DC. As long as your HC is a major closer (Smart Urban Saban Jimbo Mario) your fine. Yes I put him in that group cause he has the brand and the financial backing now. He will design teams just like they do. Physical up front on both sides with super talents at other spots. Also weakens most those teams when Mario gets going.

I dont think the assumption was that unreasonable based upon this:

You question the hiring of fired coaches yet you just suggested, not to long ago, that we Hire fired coaches to save Manny.

Its been stated ad nauseaum that McClendon is one of the best recruiters in the country at a position where South Florida will never get dry in terms of talent.

You just chose not to read, just like anyone trying to tell you that Manny Diaz sucked. But dont worry, David, we are here for you.

Again, comparing apples to oranges...check the resumes of those and compare to McClendon. Plus I wanted Patke gone for several years. As far as Manny I thought we were stuck with him for at least another year and posted what I thought would make OUR team better. I also won't take the time to search through your posts to nitpick your decisions. Can't imagine you bothering to do so, you have too much time on your hands.
