Mario is facing a new level of chess competition. He's in Saban and Kirbys territory now...he wasn't a threat to them in PNW, but now he's a major threat

New level of competition sometimes take a bit of an adjustment period. He'll adjust fine to it and ultimately we'll be fine.

Ya Saban replaces coaches with the best he can find. he doesn't say "well, it doesn't matter who I replace them with, I'll just go to the nearest bar and grab a couple bartenders to replace my staff".

You have no idea what a losers mentality is. Demanding greatness from our staff and not being happy with fvck ups is how successful businesses are run. Saying "well having the best position coaches doesn't really matter". Simply because we keep getting cucked by other teams. Is a losers mentality.

Had Kirby not taken off, they could've been calling for his head with a native son and former player then coach waiting on staff. Who knows, but keeping guys like this is risky and I'd answer it that way while buttering him up about what he's done since then.

Same reason Cristobal wasn't good enough last time the Miami job became available - he hadn't proven himself as a P5 HC. (Diaz hadn't proven himself either)

Nobody said position coaches dont matter, I’m saying they can be replaced.
If TRob left because he saw a better opportunity in Bama thats out of anyones control, fvck him move the fvck on. If he left for a raise and Mario didnt match it, then he clearly doesnt think TRob is worth the raise and had someone else in mind. Keep in mind TRob was part of the old staff and not someone Mario chose. Either way. he. was. not. irreplaceable.

Everyone needs to relax and learn to discuss. We won’t. But let’s at least have some fun

I would think UGA's lack of featuring their WRs plays a role here also. He'd basically be going back to be a recruiter. UGA will always be a run heavy team under Kirby. While staying here he could build towards the next step for him as a coach and become an OC.

position coaches get raided all over the place. Bama and UGA are the kings right now so they usually get who they want but others are vulnerable to being poached.
