Bru Mccoy from usc

I don’t understand with the way coaching carousels work that kids commit their future to the word of employees of a program.
That’s bc most kids don’t know their *** from their elbow about how the world works, not stupid just ignorant and naive. Ditto for the parents. When my kid signed to play D1 she loved the coach, who told us on her OV that she was leaving. My kid also loved to play and compete, the school was great, the offer was great, the opportunity to start and play Day 1, Bingo, she stayed and played for a new coach. Look at all the options, don’t drill down on 1factor.

So crazy. Tae gets arrested 7500 bail and is off the team before he even gets out and it’s front page of ESPN for someone who never played a snap here.

bru, a top 10 overall recruit from a powerhouse hs gets arrested 50,000 bail, no word of it on ESPN and a week later he still on the team. I have no idea how the California legal system works but 50k is no joke. Where is the pitch fork mafia outside of usc?

LA is sports royalty with the Lakers, Dodgers and USC while Miami has always been the sports Pariah when you consider the criticism the Heat, Canes and Dolphins have always gotten

Here's the initial report of the arrest/incident from USC board:

Redshirt sophomore Bru McCoy was arrested on suspicion of a felony more than a week ago, USCFootball.com has learned. The wide receiver was charged with intimate partner violence with injury, according to an LAPD spokesperson. McCoy, 21, was released on $50,000 bail on July 24th, the same day of his arrest. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 24.

"USC does not condone violence of any kind," the athletic department said when contacted for a statement. "We are aware of the situation, and USC’s Office for Equity, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX is reviewing it. Because of federal student privacy laws, we are unable to share additional information at this time.

“The student-athlete has been temporarily removed from team activities.”

A legal representative for McCoy was not available when contacted for comment.

Police said that McCoy was arrested on suspicion of violation of the California Penal Code section 273.5(a), but declined to provide more information about the incident. The violation is described as any person who willfully inflicts corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition upon a current or former spouse, cohabitant or dating partner. If found guilty, it can carry a punishment up to a $6,000 fine and/or up to four years in state prison.

Sources familiar with police operations explained that in the case of a domestic violence call, officers are more likely to make an arrest and defer criminal charges to a district attorney. McCoy’s criminal charges are still pending, according to McCoy’s arrest filing. However, sources with knowledge of McCoy’s situation have suggested it is unlikely McCoy will see the field in 2021 due to the serious nature of the allegations.

He is suspended from the team and most of the posters on their 247 board, a number of whom are attorneys, don't expect to see him in a USC uniform again.
