"When [Chevis Jackson] left, it was a little off, then it picked back up when the new corners coach came, and then with Coach Harris, I already had a strong relationship with him when he was at Florida. So definitely Miami – they're a top school for me," Jennings told InsideTheU at the Under Armour Miami Camp on Sunday.

"I know what Coach Will Harris likes as a corner, and he's big on developing, and I've seen who he's developed and how he coached when he was at Florida, so definitely being coached by Will Harris would be great," Jennings said. "And then the new corners coach, I'm building a relationship with him."

Jennings has been familiar with Miami football and the university as a whole long before his recruiting process began. His brother Bradley played at Miami from 2017–21 before ending his collegiate career at Indiana. His sister Brittney is a freshman on the Hurricanes' track and field team. He considers Miami to be a second home. "My parents are actually from Miami, and I'm like always down here," Jennings said. "My family's down here a lot. This is like a second home, [where] I'm most comfortable outside of Jacksonville."

Jennings plans to head back down to Miami for a spring visit either in mid-to-late March or in April. In addition to Miami, he intends on visiting Michigan, Florida, Auburn, Illinois and Georgia this spring.

"I'm just taking it all in, see what all the other schools have to offer and what they're talking about, how their culture is and what's different because Michigan, they stand out from other schools, I want to see the other schools, do they have something that stands out?" Jennings said.
