Brody Jennings is a 247 composite 4-star cornerback at Mandarin High. At 6-1 175 he is long and does a good job of using the sideline as an extra defender to minimize the throwing window for the QB. He visited Miami back in April but does not have an offer from us yet , however I think he is one to watch as the Mustangs look like they are becoming a bit of a pipeline to Miami (Greenland to Greentree). Similar to Hylton Stubbs, Brody Jennings comes to Mandarin to play his Junior season after spending his first two years at another high school. Jennings played his last two years at Sandalwood which has a history of good DB play locally. I watched him cover Jaime Ffrench last year and did a pretty good job clamping him for most of the game. Ffrench had over 100 yds in the game but most of those yards came when someone else was covering, or a broken play/TD. I haven’t seen him play other than against Mandarin and he looks pretty good to me on film, but I’m no CB guru (@Memnon thoughts on this one?). I’ll watch him play a good amount this year and will provide feedback in this thread. He currently holds over 20 offers.

Here is a link to his Sophomore highlight on Hudl.

His brother didn’t have a good time here with Manny.

Kid can play, but the uphill battle may not be worth it from a talent vs effort perspective.
shoot Manny coached dad to or was onf su staff same time if i can remember or richt one of the two.

I get that but it’s an entirely different staff. I don’t feel like the sell is that hard when you have a complete reset for everything minus the logo. Big Bradley is a real *** dude, I don’t think it would be that hard to sell him on the vision if we are candid with him (and momma too).

- A number of coveted defensive backs were in attendance and Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin cornerback Brody Jennings was among the headliners. After walking away with Defensive Back MVP honors, Jennings told InsideTheU that Miami has been in heavy pursuit. He is continuing to build a relationship with Zac Etheridge, but he has a longstanding bond with safeties coach Will Harris from his time at Florida. Jennings, who has a sister who runs track at Miami, said he will be back on campus later this month to watch a spring practice and that Miami is a school he's strongly considering.

Let's go big sis, get in his ear and bring him to The U!

8. CB Brody Jennings – Michigan

On a day that didn’t have a ton of top moments from defensive backs, we saw Brody Jennings flash on a handful of occasions. For starters, the Michigan commit looks to have added good mass from this time last year. He looks closer to 185 pounds than around 170 from a year ago. Jennings didn’t shy away from matchups against the top wide receivers in attendance. He had a strong rep against Ah’Mari Stevens, effectively reading the route and staying attached downfield en route to a pass breakup. Jennings’ controlled movements and polish in coverage were evident throughout the workout.
