This is what happens when you tell recruits you can’t visit elsewhere if you’re committed to Miami, and yet turn around and lose to FIU. Kids committed to what coARch sold em to be TNM, and not that **** show on Saturday. Not even Golden could pull something so awful as to what this moronic coaching staff did against FIU... I mean Golden came close against FAU and even while he put kids in a position to fail, our superior talent just overwhelmed the opponent. We had self our own players causing fumbles, balls bouncing off of heads in motions, hesitating to make tackles, not hitting the gaps, and Enos not running the ball on a really bad run D... the same players that when you like at their high school tape had no issues doing these things. I mean they are getting better coaching in high school it seems.... regardless....... kids are respecting CoARCh Manuels rule that if you’re giving other schools attention then don’t be committed. It’s like having a really fat girlfriend who demands you to be faithful , yet she does nothing to look better and you have all dime pieces on deck. these kids will look at schools that don’t lose to a bad sun belt team and I can’t blame em ...
Spot on. Our fans are so entitled. They make threads about dropping certain recruits then they get mad when a kid leaves on his own accord. They were talking so reckless about George (despite the young man making plays as a 10th grader in their faces). Hey the staff would drop a kid if they aren’t up to part, so I don’t see anything wrong with a player doing it. How many more 4 or 5 stars does this team have to ruin for the program to wake up? I’m tired of saying “recruits can see that they can make a difference...” we have been saying that since 05.
I think Golden is the worst coach ever at UM. However, he wouldn’t have lost this game and dude had some frustrating games against Bethune, FAU and lost to the likes of Duke and Cincy. However, he wouldn’t have lost last week. Manny and co took FIU for granted and got beat. I can understand a series of fluke plays but FIU was just winning. Nothing fancy. Outrunning our secondary and catching interceptions.
The recruits aren’t the issue it’s the staff. They need to do better.
