Brinson decommits (Nov 24, 2019)

This is what happens when you tell recruits you can’t visit elsewhere if you’re committed to Miami, and yet turn around and lose to FIU. Kids committed to what coARch sold em to be TNM, and not that **** show on Saturday. Not even Golden could pull something so awful as to what this moronic coaching staff did against FIU... I mean Golden came close against FAU and even while he put kids in a position to fail, our superior talent just overwhelmed the opponent. We had self our own players causing fumbles, balls bouncing off of heads in motions, hesitating to make tackles, not hitting the gaps, and Enos not running the ball on a really bad run D... the same players that when you like at their high school tape had no issues doing these things. I mean they are getting better coaching in high school it seems 😂.... regardless....... kids are respecting CoARCh Manuels rule that if you’re giving other schools attention then don’t be committed. It’s like having a really fat girlfriend who demands you to be faithful , yet she does nothing to look better and you have all dime pieces on deck. these kids will look at schools that don’t lose to a bad sun belt team and I can’t blame em ...

Spot on. Our fans are so entitled. They make threads about dropping certain recruits then they get mad when a kid leaves on his own accord. They were talking so reckless about George (despite the young man making plays as a 10th grader in their faces). Hey the staff would drop a kid if they aren’t up to part, so I don’t see anything wrong with a player doing it. How many more 4 or 5 stars does this team have to ruin for the program to wake up? I’m tired of saying “recruits can see that they can make a difference...” we have been saying that since 05.

I think Golden is the worst coach ever at UM. However, he wouldn’t have lost this game and dude had some frustrating games against Bethune, FAU and lost to the likes of Duke and Cincy. However, he wouldn’t have lost last week. Manny and co took FIU for granted and got beat. I can understand a series of fluke plays but FIU was just winning. Nothing fancy. Outrunning our secondary and catching interceptions.

The recruits aren’t the issue it’s the staff. They need to do better.

Enos made a power move by having his say and demands met in order to accept the job here in Miami and Manny acquiesce because Enos was at Bama. Aside from BOT & Admin, Enos is the main reason this is where the ship is. He had his say in offensive assistants and Manny went along with the defensive assistants.
This is why you never hire a first time coach with no experience. Doom to fail when the OC has the same power as the head man. Blow it up!!!

No issue with Manny giving Enos full reigns

Issue with Manny not seeing what a ****show it was and not making a change

U sound soft, respect is earned. UM has not done a single thing to deserve someone's respect. It's quite simple, UM is a ****show, LSU offensive and WR are looks amazing, and are probably throwing in a little incentive as well. So, not only is UM ****** they also are going against the bag man, they cant even control the things that they can control and you talking about respect.

And with that attitude, mentors and parents like you are why kids are entitled these days and bolt at the first sign of adversity. My soft @ss works in a high level position at a Fortune 500 company. I’m hard on people every day, but fair. Too many of the kids coming into our business these days expect to be handed things and lack respect for those who busted their @sses to make things possible. The world isn’t always as big as people think and it makes zero sense to unnecessarily burn bridges just to act hard or be funny on social media to get likes.

A team not playing well or throwing in extra incentives doesn’t mean a kid shouldn’t be humble or respectful about the process.....especially a hometown team that by all accounts has shown him love, and if the coaches had been showing him and his family the same respect. It’s not like he was dropped after being committed for a long period. Those kids are the ones with the gripe.

Atrocious coach.

To think, I've spent a few weeks trying to explain that this dude is a bum, and I got negged and people trying to argue real numbers with me.

We have one of dumbest fanbases in all of sports.

y’all blaming Stubbs for a decommitt when our offense is trash?

Since Cooper...what’s the last great MNW WR done in college or player for that matter..

Get yo soft as out of here, people like you always make everything about them. I dont give af what you did, the fact is respect is earned not just given you expect these prospects to respect UM and be loyal when loyalty is a w way street and respect is earned. Manny promised these kids if you come to Miami you will win championships and they he could develope them to make it to the NFL and you want people to just blindly follow him when he obviously can't do any of those things

Never said be loyal.

Funny how guys like you can’t handle a differing opinion and flip out. There’s counseling for that bud.

Everything connects, respect and loyalty. Usually both come with each other and not either or which is why I brought it up. I can handle different opinions except when people just sit there and try to tear down other people for making the best decision for their life.

Again, not what I did. I have no issues with kids going another route after what we just witnessed. I just wish kids wouldn’t go out of their way to trash the school on their way out. It’s not just a football thing. Kids today have little respect for parents, teachers, other kids, or any type of authority/rule. It’s all about me me me entitlement and social media likes. Everyone is free to do their thing and if that’s what they choose then be ready for those who fire back with an opinion. I don’t know the kid personally, just saw a bunch of likes mocking everything and everyone a day after he was committed. Poor message. The de-commitment was a big enough message for all.

I understand, but did you actually see what he did? Maybe because I am young but I do not consider him retweeting people who supported his decision to be disrepect. Disrepctdul would be him tweeting something along the lines of, "UM playing like **** and they wont my commitment".

Curious to see who the staff prioritizes at WR now that we're coming out of the dead period and with Likens in place.

Sounds like Rhett really wants Yulkeith and Leary

And have heard some stuff regarding Bralon Brown, Jaden Alexis, Troy Stelleto, but not a ton

Not alot on Brinson or Brooks

Very curious to see how the staff pursues Brinson and Brooks...if the staff doesn't, or does so in a half-hearted manner, could it finally be signs that the staff has learned not to waste resources on the bag players (especially if Miami isn't going to play the game) and pursue the players who actually have legit interest?

Who knows maybe with guys like Lockette and Hyppolite on staff Miami has a clearer picture of what the different communities know about each kid.

Both Brinson and Brooks both said the staff told them they are the Top Priority right now.

The Triple Bs of Brinson, Brooks, and Y Brown and then we can forget about WR in this class.

That would be an incredible haul; hopefully, Lashlee can pull it off

If the staff doesn’t recruit players of this caliber in their backyard they should be shot with an anti aircraft gun. Enough excuses about bags. Do your job and land some of these guys.
