Bring In Nay’Quan Wright

Mike James was like 5'10 220 pds and played in the NFL...he wasnt some run of the mill back.

Mike James had a career 4.4 ypc and ran for 1340 yds total in 4 years. As far as Miami rbs go hes mediocre. He did look a lot quicker his senior year and was a versatile receiver which is why he got drafted. But again...hes 5'10 220 with better measurables than 5'8 185 wright.

No thanks.

You can't be 5'8 and speed is a concern. I don't believe in 5'8 power backs. FSU, VT LB would light that *** up in the hole.

Wright is another Yearby.

Mike James was solid....in any case would it be so bad to take a guy that ends up being a Joe Yearby type of back considering there’s still Lingard, Davis, Deejay, and Burns in the backfield?

4.7 shuttle and 29" indicate he lacks explosiveness. Combined with his stature thats not a recipe for success.

For reference duke ran a 4.16 and had a vert of 35"...also a quicker 40.

Robert Burns had one of the best SPARQ scores ever. That is all.

Ah I understand now, you're one of those people who go by Sparq ratings and testing numbers. The numbers say one thing but his play says another. His 40 time may show a an average time but I see him breaking off 50, 60, and 70 yard runs with relative ease on Friday nights. He also has good vision and is a one cut back, those translate well to the next level. Take him and develop him.

Busted plays in HS you dont say...

LMAO, the question at this point shouldn't be if UM should target Wright. The question is if Wright should give UM the time of day with this staph and specifically Richt.............to which I say **** no.
Is it so toxic? He wouldn’t even consider it at this point if the staff promised him a spot? I’m sure he feels disrespected, but was he really really disrespected?

Its not the end of the world for sure...hes talented i just dont see him ever being a #1 or #2 guy....imo for miami....we should always be recruiting guys with starter potential at RB. Thats really my only hangup.

This staff is an utter embarrassment. Slow played a stud RB and Crowley decommited. The entire Offensive staff should be let go outside of Dugans.

This program is so incompetent in how it's being run right now our longest active commit just went to Ohio State without thinking twice. This has nothing to do with disrespect, think about it.
