Brian Burns 2016 WDE why no Miami Love

Joe Jackson says hi.

Would have been nice for Burns AND Jackson to say Hi

How Diaz's system is set up, Burns wouldn't play the opposite spot of Jackson and you're not taking Jackson off the field. Burns is a 3rd down pass rusher here and you slide Chad Thomas inside on 3rd downs. Maybe a blitzing LB in passing situations. He's too light right now to depend on for anything else.

So the exact same thing he did at FSU? Pretty sure he barely played for FSU just on 3rd and longs.

Funny thing is 5* Kaindoh will jump him in depth chart to start opposite of 5* Sweat. That is what happens to 4*s on loaded teams. Role players.

So what would you do if I told you Burns is a 5* ?

Lots of alleged Cane fans with their tongues lodged deep into the Nole ********.
BlackVern territory.
Amazing.

The kid will be good. Not every four and five star is an immediately success and because they aren't, doesn't mean they aren't four and five star worthy.

It took Matthew Thomas a few years to adjust. Now that he has, he has become one of the best linebackers in the country. He will come back for his senior year and be on all of the award watchlists for linebackers and defenders and is going to have a rising draft stock to match. It took him a little longer than expected, but he got there. As have most of Florida State's stud front seven recruits (heck, all defenders) under Jimbo.

Like Pete said, stack chips. It is why they have a dominant defense.

Miami should have had similar results to FSU over the years, even with the talent we've had, but...Dorito. Look at Miami's results this year with just one off-season of Kuligowski and Diaz. Top 15 in nearly every major category. Would have had even better results if Miami had a better TOP and ran the ball more (like every top team in the nation - having the ball for over 30mpg).

Matt Thomas one of the best LB's in the country lmfao. Pickney was already better then him.

He got a bunch of sacks against Syracuse and a 1AA team. I'm not saying he's not going to be good but watching him play it's obvious that JJ is miles ahead of him physically and technically.

Btw. LOL @ Matt THomas being one of the best LBs in the country. He wasn't even 3rd team All ACC by the coaches.

You haven't watched this kid in the last few games. Playing on another level. ACC Coaches didn't vote Njoku to any team either (5th in regard to votes)...they clearly don't watch these games.

42 TKL, 8 TFL in his last five games.

Actually I have. He didn't register a tackle in the bowl game and finished his season with 23 total tackles for the year so I'm not sure where you're getting your information.

We can say this for dozens of soFla kids who chose to go elsewhere and excelled because we didn't recruit them or they were traitors.....what's the point?

The point is simple. Miami will never be BACK if they don't stack those chips.

No argument there and I am one of those that always debate folks who state every recruiting cycle that certain positions
are not a priority whereas I am of the belief that are positions are critical and need to be recruited hard regardless
of current roster.

That said, my point was more along the lines of addressing the resident mopes and closet Noles who tongue bath
their players and forget that we have players on our squad just as good or better.

So......having said this....Joe Jackson defecates on that skinny DE's mouth from American Heritage.

And I predict Garvin will have 11 sacks his Fr. Year
