I have a question for those that have some insight about American Heritage HS in Plantation.

let's talk, Brian Burns 2016 WDE why no Miami Love coming from this kid (or possibly to him from UM) who is in Miami's backyard an has being playing lights out for years coming off the edge while also playing the run quite well as a tall wiry built DE for American Plantation. This kid is coached by a UM great yet here is a prime example of an under the radar kid that should have been hand delivered to Miami, by Rumph!

There was article up last year about his interest in Miami an how Rumph talked about the old Miami, but since last spring things have been down right frigid on the news front regarding Burns & Miami.

So what is the story with this young's recruitment.

Thought the "U" had offered...At 6.5' with added weight he's gonna find a home somewhere with a D1 powerhouse...

when have we ever gotten a commitment from that school? Even if we pursued, Golden would fail to reel him in.

Joe Jackson says hi.

Would have been nice for Burns AND Jackson to say Hi

How Diaz's system is set up, Burns wouldn't play the opposite spot of Jackson and you're not taking Jackson off the field. Burns is a 3rd down pass rusher here and you slide Chad Thomas inside on 3rd downs. Maybe a blitzing LB in passing situations. He's too light right now to depend on for anything else.

Stack chips. Land them all and then figure it out

Yeah, what you quoted is an example of figuring it out.

I agree. Not only does it give you stud depth but it keeps guys like this way from our rivals............

I'm not saying he would have wound up at UM if we had offered, but one of my buddies on the Heritage staff told me that UM never offered the kid. I know hindsight is sharper that foresight, but this seems like a major fail to me.
