The guys Manny recruited that were at the Combine did not fair well? I guess those players weren't trash after all. Guess the portal has good players, too.
The usual suspects are desperate to not give any credit to Mario or the program for anything. Their entire personalities on this site revolve around it, so they have no other choice.

What the OP is saying is that Mario and his staff helped prepare them on how to present themselves at the Combine and to maximize their positivities, to carry themselves as professionals. It’s irrelevant if they were another coach’s recruits…they spent three years under a Cristobal ecosystem that helped to prepare them.

It was good to have that many players there and conducting themselves like professionals. I am ok with people looking for any little thing to be positive about coming off choking away the season -- but as it has been pointed out, that positive is more the amount of players at the Combine and talent infusion to give Mario credit for. I am not sure 1 year for the portal guys and/or Restrepo, Arroyo or Rivers needed much Media Mario fine tuning ... So that leaves George -- at least he didn't get a flag at the Combine. I am also not sure it is Miami controlling whether they perform certain drills at the Combine -- that is likely their new team of agents/family.
It's not just a Mario thing. It's a Miami thing. People are upset because of the amount of quality talent showing out at the combine this year and we have nothing to show for it. Nothing other than we still continue to produce NFL talent but disappoint when it matters during the season.
