This new generation, they expect everything handed to them, and if they ain't starting right away then "the coaches are trippin" and it's straight to the portal. Trust me, he ain't the only one on the team that's upset about their playing time. I think it was Washington's dad that was arguing with me on IG and saying that B. Smith is better than Restrepo and should be starting because "he can beat the defense over the top".
That was literally his sole reasoning. 🤦🏻‍♂️

technically he waited his turn, he gonna be a senior lol.. Andre johnson started as redshirt freshman.. He wasnt gonna start over restrepo who came back so he wanted to play.. I dont see how that is a bad thing he wants to play. You agree Restrepo is better and he would be behind him his senior year.. time to go..

Not a big loss, we can go 7n5 with or without him..

Yeah, he probably wouldn't wait in an era like today where you aren't punished a year for transferring. I certainly can see how he feels he can get his shine on elsewhere while we replace him with Ny Carr,Trader etc to backfill Restrepo. At best, he'd be looking at 1 year of prime playing time when he can get more at other schools

I've been fighting the good fight to tell everyone he's *** for a long time. Not only is he absolute dog water as a receiver, he evolved into a locker room cancer because he wasn't getting on the field.

In the A&M game in 2022 he took over X's spot when he got hurt. His position had tons of built in option routes and they had to take those out during the week so Brashard could handle it. Had to be black and white for him. Then, on the 4th down play to end the game, he was supposed to run a 5 yard dig or out route and he ****ed it up and ran it 7 yards and shaped it more like post/corner. Got way too close to the defender and ball had to travel too far and it bounced off his hands.

Some guys just can't play WR. He's a gadget player only. KR/PR, can run the slot fade, catch a few screens, reverses, line up in the backfield and run a route. He's not a WR and definitely not a slot because he can't figure out the reads that go with it in most systems.
