Brandon Innis

Ya’ll gotta relax ….

It’s been 4 games. He signed with OSU because he trusted their development history. That isn’t going to stop because he hasn’t played in 4 games in a loaded WR room with multiple 1st rounders.

He has a lot of studs in front of him. If he's not on the field do to not creating separation or on field stuff then nah. If he just wants to leave to come home and it's not cause he's a jag then take fa sho.

I wanted him out of HS like everyone else but we know cfb is different. Haven't heard he's unhappy but if he transfered here later on what a stupid *** move to go to OSU in the first place. Now you have to battle Carr, J Smith, Ray Ray, Robbie, etc. Sheesh

In a few years it's going to be harder to get burn at wr here then OSU.

I don't know why you think he is guaranteed snaps here. He's not starting over the guys that currently start and going forward we are bringing in like skilled ballers who actually chose to be here.

As Al Blades Sr. said.... "**** them Mutha****ers" if they don't choose us off rip. This ain't no Manny Diaz outfit.

***** OSU. Was rooting for ND bc well they stole a ship from us. In is probably looking at all the fun the frosh at the U are having and questioning decision and this is before 10 degree weather sets in. Depends on how we close but the idea of him coming is not that far fetched IMO

This is all true but it doesn’t mean he’s happy and change isn’t coming to OSU staff. This will be interesting.

+1. I respect Innis. From what I could gather, it seemed like Miami put together an attractive NIL package, but he was more motivated by the production and development of OSU WRs, and was swayed by the fact that NFL money > NIL money. I can't blame him for his decision. And if he is as mature as I think he is, he'll be patient knowing he's got 2 1st round WRs in front of him, one of whom is likely a top 5 or top 10 can't miss talent. I love message board speculation as much as anyone but this is super premature.

But what I think some people may be missing is the fact there is a middle ground. Yes he elected to go to OSU over NIL money for long term development and long money. But once he gets there and is not getting a snap vs WKU in a 60 point blowout? Even Harrison Jr had like 3TDs and some burn as a TF in blowouts. Something seems a little off. Never heard issues of him as far as work ethic, football IQ, discipline etc. maybe an adjustment from him always being the top dog since optimist ball but like you said he likely knew the situation he was going into and did not expect to start, however I imagine he expected to play a snap or two in blowouts. Couple that with the uncertainty swirling around Hartline, the guy who was supposed to develop him I could see everything you are saying being true but him also wanting to come home.

Think like a Tyrique Stevenson. Dude was on a NC team and playing **** near starter minutes. He wanted to come home and wanted a shot to be a true CB. Crazier things have happened.
