Reminds me of perryman the way they hit u they move backwards. Perrymans film was amazing dudes were literally scared of him running away from him
 
Diagnoses the run quickly, seems to move well laterally, some burst going into his tackles so he hits like a truck. Crouching tiger, hidden OH MY GOD THAT HURT. But looks a little stiff and slow.

Overall looks like a nice prospect, really happy to have him.

But I'd be more confident if I saw his full season highlights and he actually did disengage and made a play at some point.

I feel pretty much the same. He's definitely a thumper, but speed is questionable. We need backers who can read and get across the line to stop jet sweeps and wide screens to the rb or wr. We got to focus on speed! Turn SS into speedy Outside LB'ers.

kid plays just like dad. Stays low...reads ...reads..then BAM...You go down. Definition of a THUMPER. Love his game paired with the sideline to sideline guy like Wilder. I like the Juco kid from ALabama as well....but Jennings fits what we do...not alot of rest easy tackles. Lots of contact then meet ground.
 
I'm not completely sold but I can definitely agree with the fact that he's a thumper. Came back to watch the full season highlights and my first thoughts hasn't changed...My best comparison for him right now is a 1-speed heat-seeking missile.

-Plays the alley with lots of power and awareness.
-As someone mentioned above, he hits people and they go backwards, a sign that he is always giving full effort on every tackle.
-I like that he hits SOMETHING when he gets to the line of scrimmage...whether it's an OLineman or RB...Great sign of aggression but IDK how gunning straight for the OLineman and trying to knock them into the gap(if they're in your way) will work consistently in college.
-4-3 defense usually doesn't suffer much from slow MLB so I may be exaggerating, but I don't know if his speed will hold the defense back when he's on the field.
-Seems to wrap up in some way, shape, or form every time he contacts the ball carrier.

I'm with Gogeta, plays like his old man. Brings bad intentions on contact. Has a frame to add more weight. In his previous highlights they focused primarily on him blitzing which he was very good, nice to see him reading and and attacking in these highlights. Not a one trick pony. Looking forward to watching this kid develop. Our LB stable is filling up very nicely for the future.

This kids film is a mixture of Denzel & Arthur brown. Plays old school football the way it is supposed to be played. When linebackers were a terror. Most on here are probably a Lil too young & it's sacrilegious to mention but really has alot of Marvin jones,Lamont green & Mike barrow in him. As long as we get elite safety play we can minimize any coverage or speed concerns. Kid should do amazing for us. I really like him.
 
Kid brings "DA PAIN" & His FB speed is just fine. May not be able to out run RB"s & WR's after INT's but gotta get 1 1st. "THUMPER"
