I’ve got a complete hard on for Aranda. He is a fantastic coach. His teams slways look prepared, motivated, disciplined. Even on the sidelines you can see an all in culture. Every time the camera shows him, he looks like he is calculating something. He deserves a big contract.

Listen, Metchie tore his ACL in the SEC Championship game. Willis ripped up his knee in the BCS game. Smith tore his ACL in the CFP. It’s a contact sport. It can happen anytime. It happens in pre-season games all time. In practice.

My only thing is, it’s best if these guys are evaluated pre-bowl season, & have draft insurance available if they play in a game, injured, thus jeopardizing their draft status. The insurance should be based upon what round a player is graded on, so tiered type of insurance. I think that’s fair & helps limit these opt-outs.
