Bowl Game?

Will we be ranked 4th or 5th in the ACC? Not sure if FSU will be counted since they will be in the title game but if not we will be 5th behind FSU, Clem, Duke, and Virginia Tech. Anyone know which bowl game that would be?

It's time for people to understand this. There is no formal standing that the bowls go by. ACC bowls have a selection order, and they don't have to follow the exact ACC standings.

The bowls have a pecking order for ACC teams. There is no ranking. If a bowl has the ACC third pick, they can pick any ACC team who is available and bowl eligible when it's their turn to pick.

almost every single mock bowl schedule has these two games for us. My guess is that we go to the Russell.

Says who? I don't think they want Duke and their 11 fans. We actually have a good traveling fanbase as well as a huge alumni base in Atlanta. We also have more name recognition for the average fan than Duke. Duke obviously deserves it, but the bowl will be looking for $$ and interest and Miami-Texas A&M or whatever SEC school is a lot more appealing than Duke.

This. Chic Fil A will have the same decision they did after '09...VT fan base or Miami brand name. Unless Duke takes down FSU...in which case Chic Fil A will take Clemson/FSU and we will go to Nashville or whatever.
