I literally don't know **** about Bostwick.

Junior highlights, can't find anything more recent.

He's a beast.

I've asked this before, but I'll ask again:

Why is this guy so underrated? He's not the quickest guy off the snap, but he's 6' 3"+ and 270+ as a HS senior, uses his hands extremely well, pursues extremely well, has an outstanding frame and plays with a good pad level.

Is it grades? Is his competition really that bad? What's going on here?

Bostwick may be underrated as a recruit, but he won't go unnoticed once he gets in a college program. I agree the one thing he has to work on is firing off the snaps, but he shows explosion in other parts of the highlight so that def can be improved. I liken it to a sprinter improving he reaction time out of the blocks through drills and technique.

He's not rated that high because he didn't do the writers jobs for them by going to camps, and he doesn't really do interviews so they aren't making money off him. Stars. LULZ.

One thing that worries me is that basically everyone who watches his highlight notices that he's slow off the ball, even an untrained eye. He last off the ball on every play, I know he's the biggest on the line but still.

That's correctable though. He's a tremendous talent that we really need.

When I first saw this video last year he became one of my favorite recruits - a must get. It's funny you said he doesn't have the quickest first step Lu because to my untrained eye that's what stood out. Glad you like what you're seeing in the other areas of his game.

He's quick enough off the ball for the SEC schools recruiting him, he is quick enough for me. Plus, Golden doesn't waste time 'crootin players he doesn't want, and I don't think he wants anyone here just to take up a spot.

Consider he is a bit slow off the ball and still destroys people

His recruitment has been quiet, but his offer sheet is loud.

Wonder if he can come in and play some defensive end. He and Jelani Hamilton would (theoretically) give us DEs with the length and strength to play two gaps in certain fronts.

Those saying he is underrated need to stop looking at his star rankings. Where he plays ball, who he plays against, and his offer list are more important to me.
