If he doesn't play quarterback, I think his best position is safety. High IQ, good build, showed some tackling ability last night when Booker T returned his punts. He played safety earlier in his career.
I still think he can play college quarterback in the Troy Smith-mold, but last night wasn't the time to show it. He was flushed out the second he dropped back on every passing play. I'd like to see him with some talent and (more importantly) coaching to truly evaluate what he can do.
Recruit him as a QB, give him a chance to compete and move him if he can't make it. Either way, a must offer in my eyes.
