I didn’t get wowed by his film when he first gave us the verbal. But now that I know how he will be used he will have a good future here. They better pay Guidry anything he wants he needs to be our veneables. Whatever tf that guys name is…….keep him and eventually just like Clemson it took awhile the offense will come around.

I can agree with this. If there’s sustained success on that side of the ball, to the point where the defense is churning out Top 20 metrics and multiple early round draft picks, it’s just that much easier to field a CFP-contending team. A buffoon of an OC could stumble into a 10-win season if you’re routinely holding opponents well below their scoring average.

Keeping Guidry is #2 on my personal list of offseason to-do’s.

The only time this kid needs to be going backward is on punt return.

He is an EDGE/OLB In the bear front we run ...not a true LB. He can take a shirt and learn behind Wes for a year...but his twitchiness is what we need off the edge.

We line our LB’s standing up at the edge a lot in Guidry’s D. Lightfoot, Rudolph, McConathy and Pickett are an elite group of edge rushers IMO
