Little Steven Wagner over at CS posted about him today. Excerpt/paraphrase:

Pickett Jr. may be a UM legacy, but the Canes have cooled significantly on him. Sources have told us the program has cooled on the 6-foot-2, 183-pound EDGE and No. 99 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Thought about this some more. We know there are copy cat schools coming after our primary targets. Is there a better way to throw off the copy cats by leaking a bogus story about losing interest?

I actually think they are giving On3 bogus info cause they don’t trust them. Or in classic CS fashion they just made it up to run the story because they didn’t know JT would be heading up there. Ferman will run any story true or false to have a story.

Good to see this. Kid is very skinny right now but as someone above mentioned so was Brian Burns when he came out of American Heritage. A good college s&c program can get him right… This kid is a Cane legacy from a very solid program out of Tampa and he has a cousin who’s a 5* S DJ Pickett in the next cycle. A package deal would be nice with these guys.

He can be a specialist rusher initially like Moss is probably gonna be at first. Definitely dont want him to go to FSU. Actually my bad, its the safety for 2024 that posted his vid. Thought it was this chap

Brian Burns may have had the fastest get off ive ever seen down here and an older brother who was an nfl de as well. (Stanley Mcglover Auburn)
I dont know if i would put him in Burns category but he is someone to monitor. If he is 6'2 190...yea thats not an edge here coming in...or he would have to be an early enrollee. I like that he is a legacy though and we need another real rusher on the opposite of Lightfoot just dont know who that will be at end.
 
Hope its us, looks to have a frame to add weight unlike dante anderson a couple years ago, hes a legacy, and it's gotta help with dj pickett
