Pickett is definitely a continuing trend in the right direction. Hopefully we can finish no worse than 12th in average per recruit (subsequently would mean total class ranking is inside the Top 10 for sure).

through 7 games he has 10 sacks and 13 TFLs.

Jeremiah Smith is going to decommit from OSU and commit to Miami after losing to Clemson at this rate.

Happy about that but keeping it real it would be top 10 because we already would have 24 commits. Would be tough to stay there without signing a huge class or flipping whales.

I’m not trying to mope, but I’m also not going to be jumping for joy with a recruiting class that’s teetering on the 20’s in average rating per recruit, considering the man in charge of recruiting is supposedly a top 3-5 recruiter in all of college football.

I don’t feel like doing math, but Pickett would push us I think close to that 15th-per recruit range. A lot of people are pivoting to “Mario needs more talent and the Manny guys need to leave”…so let’s start stacking the best talent, right?

Good trend of positive momentum on the trail should we close (on top of Carr), plenty of good players out there to grab or flip, and plenty of games we should win on the field. The expectations is, and always will be, a Top 10 class.
