Bobby Petrino seems to be betting the Farm on Sept 1st

I have intensly disliked Bobby Petrino going back to the days of his "secret" airplane meeting. Throw in a young "staff member" and a motorcycle and I don't need some video of him lying some more to amp my blood up...

The wife is staying for the $$$, I'm sure that is what she tells her friends and family to keep her dignity...

Side question, did you vote for / support Clinton?
My point being how interrelated should family be w coaching?
Other point is if not at all, then why he talking about it?

He essentially quit on 1 team. Nobody was saying anything before the Falcons incident. Had he come here in '07 when he was flying high with Louisville we probably would've been in the national championship game hunt every year.

He left Louisville for Atlanta 6 months after signing an extension. He also was talking to Auburn about being their head coach behind Louisville's back. So like I said....I wouldnt want him to be a head coach of my team.

Are you kidding me? He was one of the hottest names in coaching and an offensive juggernaut. If your boss comes to you and offers you a raise you're supposed to decline it? I think it was a 10 year extension. Dude was not gonna be there for 10 years if there were major opportunities knocking. Coaches leave programs all the time. It is for their best interest. The goal in coaching is to win. If you think the resources at another school allows you to win more then you go. No one leaves USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami etc for another college gig. The best coaches in college today have left gigs for better gigs. That's just the profession. Had Petrino been here he might've considered an NFL opportunity but the teams you can field at this school is too ridiculous to leave.
