AD's don't fire coordinators. No head coach would want to come here if they thought they AD would try and run the program.

Remember that he has multiple sports to manage. He has no time to go below the HC, nor should he.

Thats not true, can someone tell me why do you think we have associate AD positions that make six figure salaries?...Blake used to be one of them before the promotion.

It depends on the various factors but most schools offer multi-year contracts to coaches unless prohibited by state law. For instance in Wisconson and Colorado only a certain number of public university employees (roughly 8-10) can have multi-year contracts. Which is why Aranda recieved a 2 yr contract because Wisc is scared to death of him leaving, so they broke the bank in terms of money and offered the 2 yr deal. Which is why I say if UM offered $500K and a 3+1 year contract he would jump at the offer for various reasons.

a. What are his immediate plans, 1-2 year?

b. What does he intend to accomplish within 3 years of his hire?

c. 5 - 10 years?

He landed in a sweet spot because he stepped in the mass chaos of the investigation

I will say he seems to "care" about the program as he was trying to get sun "no life" stadium to be more of
A college atmosphere with the tarps and things but was not successful

He is trying to do more with fund raising and he stated he wants to be competitive it's hard to say
What a guy can do or will do when after all he is basically a shalala hire and spokesman

He has a "Golden" opportunity if he bangs some doors down and makes some headways
