He was committed to or favored to go to Missouri St when Petrino was HC. When Petrino took the UNLV OC job he followed Petrino there. Petrino however was only in Vegas for a month before jumping to A&M.

Adding a walk-on level true freshman quarterback doesn’t serve as a replacement for Garcia.

Given the current state of our QB room, we need a legit portal QB who can hopefully compete with TVD and allow Jacurri to redshirt AND we need to land two premier blue-chip QB’s in the ‘24 class.
