Has anybody seen any pics of the backs of the jerseys yet? Hoping they have the actual player names and not "Hurricanes" like the smoke jerseys from last year...

Also, why does the Smoke uni in this pic^^ look so much darker than the one DP was wearing?

If you think the smoke uniforms with the orange helmets looks bad, you may need to get your vision checked. Granted, they are far from traditional Canes uniforms. But that combo is pretty slick.

Honestly, my preference would have been a darker matte graphite/black with a like colored helmet. With this current shade of gray, I think the green helmet works better. JMO.

How can anyone hate the orange pant, white top, white helmet look? Its vintage Miami.

I guess you hated the look of all the dominant teams in the 80s and 90s.

Yeah, it's vintage Miami, but the way they made it is completely different from the vintage unis. The vintage unis at least tied the top and bottom. these look like 2 different pieces put together rather than one uniform. Hard to explain but the green around the neckline and shoulders and lack of striping on the pants is throwing it off.

Basically the same thing except the green stripe on the pants.

Joking aside, I love the white top/orange bottom combo but the new white jerseys do seem a bit imbalanced - too much green.

I don't think we wear that combo against Louisville...they're going to be wearing all black, so we should counteract that with all white.
