I actually like the colored helmets. To me, the helmet doesn't necessarily have to match the jersey perfectly because of the metallic finish on the helmets. They'll look clean

I'm pretty sure the orange and green helmets are supposed to go with the smoke uni. They will look great with that uni and a little awkward with the regular except white. I think we will wear the classic helmet with orange tops and green tops and then the orange or green helmet with smoke and possibly white tops.

It's not a huge deal or anything, but I am curious as to why the colors don't match. Again (Golden voice lol), I've seen it that way for other teams too. Just don't really get it, that's all.

My guess would be it's pretty difficult to match colors exactly when dealing with different materials. I find it hard to believe Nike just said "fluck it, close enough".

Agree that I can't see Nike just saying "close enough." But I do find it hard to believe that Nike -- with all it's money and other resources -- can't match colors better than that (whether exactly or just really close), even with different materials.
