Biran Rincher CB Piper tremendous speed and ability

Love this kid's highlights.
I would offer him if/when any of our current (or presumed) DB commits start yanking our chain.

Bandy was measured at the Nike at 5-9.5 so height is he is a legit 5.9 is not that much of a problem with that speed.

Just cause Bandy is good at 5'9"-5'10" doesn't mean every CB is like Bandy. Bandy is the exception.

"It doesn't matter how small he is, he's fast" does not apply to Corners. You can run a 3.92 forty but if you're 5'7" and the WR you're blanketing is 6'2" then he's always open. (doesn't matter how close you are)

With that said, I'm okay with signing an undersized CB if he shows that he has elite cover skills. (not just elite speed) I wanted Hoggins, I wanted Dowels, I wanted Bandy. Those guys all had production though, and whether it was in games or at camps, they showed that they could cover the best WR's in South FLA.

I like some things about the kid's film. He closes well against short routes, he's aggressive and he's obviously fast. The fact that he's heading into his Senior year and is relatively unknown is a bit of a head scratcher though, as is his lack of stats. Usually small CB's have a lot of picks if they're good cause they get tested a lot. (has happened to every small CB I've known that's good)

Bandy just shows that with cover skills and closing speed one can play big ball. This Rincher kid shows he does have great closing speed, is a real physical tackles and can stay with any receiver. He also claims a vertical near 40". There are a lot of 6-1+ DBs with speed that cannot cover worth a ***** as they are not ball players first. Cannot lump this kid in with those people.
