Teams could possibly play as independents, like in the '70's before everyone went conference crazy. All teams still eligible for playoff.

He's absolutely right here. You cant cancel a football season saying you are looking out for the health of the players and then ask them to play two seasons in a calendar year. Completely hypocritical
