How they did not give Grimes and STA the the td there is beyond me. Looked like half his body fell into the end zone. Wow

STA blew this game.

Still, Roger Harriott has yet to beat a top national team.

Live, to me it looked like it wasn't really all that close. I tried to soldier through the horrid post game show hoping to see a replay but I couldn't take anymore
 
There is a video angle on the GL where he looks in... but the video I saw from the back of the EZ looks like he could be down. It doesn't matter - they went all Pete Carroll on 'em and **** the bed at the 1 with TWO P5 tailbacks on their team.[TWEET]769367112695549952[/TWEET]

Buckeye or not Trevon grimes is the real deal.... Elite size and has very good speed. I wish it was a way we could get him but oh well

Call could've gone either way.

I'm proud BTW repped for the 305. I need to see STA play more teams from the City if they want to claim that "best of" label.

Not saying he did or didn't get in, but that angle doesn't appear to difinitely answer the question. Need the replay to determine what part of his body touched first and when. Definitely much closer than what I thought I saw at the time
 
A few thoughts:

- What a game. One of the the best I've ever seen.

- Telfort is the best prospect I saw. Must get. He's shed some bad weight and looks dominant.

- Hats off to Ice Harris. Booker T is not the biggest or deepest team but they know how to win.

- Two of the most underrated players in the state: Sherrod Johnson and Richard Dames of Booker T.

- Nik Bonitto from STA is a player. Very explosive pass rusher.

- Mike Epstein (RB for STA, Illinois commit) was best player on the field. He proved himself coming off the ACL.

- Gutsy performance for Daniel Richardson, QB for Booker T. He might end up as one of the best HS players ever in Dade County.

- Jake Allen is absolutely horrible. In case you missed this crazy ending, STA appeared to take the lead on a pass to Grimes with less than a minute left. When everyone was celebrating, the officials ruled him down at the one. Allen rushed up to the line, hurried the snap and threw a pick. Just a terrible overall performance. Hope he sticks with the Gators.

- Harley was a little banged up and was largely ineffective. Grimes was physical and showed his talent.

I liked that kid Hicks for BTW. He popped off the screen multiple times
