Bicho is here to expose SEC Recruiting.

Lol shocker. Demonize Miami when the guy is doing the same ****ing thing

Guy is not demonizing Miami, just stating the obvious: in this game we are bad amateurs.

These SEC guys are pros. Why do you think so many lifelong Canes fans leave Miami for the SEC.

Simple reason is untraceable financial support.

We've gone all in twice.

The first time was with Uncle Luke and ended up with a staffer organizing federal fraud on an unprecedented level.

The next time was with Shapiro, who pretty much shouted from penthouses what he was doing.

Gotta give The SEC credit. Their bagmen wouldn't give up their teams under threat of torture.

Our guys squeal right when a bright light is flashed in their face.

Reddit seems to think the bagman is from Ole Miss and the kid asking for $70K was Christian Jones. Makes sense to me actually. And explains a lot of their recent recruiting

Copy it. Perfect it. Coaches tour in Orlando in a few weeks.

See you there.

I'll be the one in the Miami shirt.

Don't tell anyone.

"The bag men associated with certain schools pay potential signees one-time bonus payments not to visit a rival school that's offered a scholarship. The going rate is stated to be $2,500. This has become a popular tactic in recent years, as the recruiting process has become more publicized."

That's what LSU does in SFL. For years.

Miraculously Valentine and Scarborough cancel their official Miami visits at the last minute.

I remember when the running back we had this year switched to the Gators one week before NSD saying he had to take care of his family. Naturally no one bothered to inquire what he meant.

That's because we all knew.

Same with Sony making a "business decision," and going to UGA.

They make it pretty obvious that there is something illicit occurring.

Just once I'd like to see one of these guys make a true business decision and say they are going to attend Harvard, Yale or Stanford.

Nobody pays like the SEC.

Didn't he also tweet that his family had been struggling too long...

The only thing that truly surprised me in that article is the admission that big time boosters don't have much to do with the 'illegal' stuff. You would just assume it was that way, especially since it worked that way at UM for awhile. These bagmen are regular people. People with mortgages, loans, car leases, etc. And they come together to pay athletes to help their favorite schools (of which some aren't even alumni). God I love college football lol

in a way you have to admire them, in the end they just want their team to win and they dont want any of the spotlight or to hangout and be best buds with teenagers. with guys like shapiro its all about him, running out the tunnel with the players, taking pics etc he wanted to be accepted and looked at as one of the guys instead of just using his money for the betterment of the team. thats the big difference between shapiro and these guys they're not trying to buy acceptance or friends they want wins

Correct. Shapiro did it all for himself and claimed to be doing it for the kids Walter White style.

But you get coaches with ties to the school, then you get one person who has all those kids' attention."

Hmm like Jack Daniels @ Dwyer....except his ties lie with Urban as well

very interesting read BUT...nothing more than a story will ever come of this. SEC aint never getting busted, neither miles nor sabens small slimy hands are ever getting tied to ****.

Whats is sickening is its so ***** out in the open that it gets overlooked. Reminds me of my time in college when this guy I knew began holding packages for some dealer for a bill per week. The guy held the package in the tree right in front of the dealers house. Dealer never knew it...guy never gets busted for **** and everyone happy

on the other hand...we (UM) gets stopped with half a joint and they try to give us the chair

spot on....bowling trips and yacht parties = Death Penalty.

I think they minimized the role played by the schools and big money boosters. Sure the big fish give a ton on the up and up, but don't try to fool me into thinking they have nothing to do with this game. And hey coach, this guy gets things done for us. Yep. Les Miles immediately thinks - thanks joe nobody grass looks great, programs are perfect.

What? Did I read that correctly... big time prospects are making signing LOI decisions based on $500 or $2500? I thought the elite guys were all getting the Cam Newton $180,000 treatment. Or the parent's job hook up a la Patrick Johnson.

Dirty Dirty Business and we are not good at it. That's our true Demise. Until we can get a coach to get most of the elite kids in SFL to stay home and play for pride instead of the quan, then we are never going to be the True "U" anymore.

Technology ruined our run. 25 years ago SEC teams couldn't be in constant contact with SoFla kids and families.

This guy says "wouldn't you want to help" but what he and these confederate morons are not seeing is that it's not actual help; it's cheating. They pat themselves on the back for "helping". If I was an MD and shot all our kids up with PEDS, that's cheating, and there is nothin to be proud of there. It's empty. This sport is ruined and minor league football is the only answer.

He's actually right, not demonizing. He is saying that the reason we got caught is because we were stupid about it. They are smart about it. Period.

They have also been doing it since the early 50's, passed down generation to generation of lawyers, bankers, and businessmen who know how to run the business side of college football. Our alumni are not the good ole boys from the south, they are from the Northeast, international et al and could care less about the SEC and the church like status of college football. The small, private school in Coral Gables has zero idea how large state schools in the south do business. We get our share of athletes and football players for sure, but on an even playing field, we would be top 5 year in, year out. The bag men tip the scales.
