Best QB in Miami History!

Since the mid-80s, yes. More mobile than those guys, a good enough arm. Defenses and offenses are both more complicated today.

I will say Cam is exciting, but for all the good he does, he also puts us in some precarious situations w/ decision making. In all honesty, he should have more ints if not for complete drops.

He reminds me a little of Brett Farve; a bit of a fearless gunslinger that make u go, “no no no”, then “yes yes yes.” He also reminds me of Brett w/ that backyard football play of his.

He’s the reason we’re 7-0, though, & that’s not up for debate. Going through my head of all our QBs, yeah he may be the best thus far.

He’s clearly our best in the modern era of college football. And by modern era, I mean the last 15 years or so. As late as the early 2000s most teams weren’t running the spread offenses everyone is running. Plus a few rule changes for the offense.

Back in the day, a good defense would hold good offenses to 10-15 points a game. Now it seems the ‘better defenses’ are giving up 20 when teams are evenly matched, or not grossly overmatched.

Can we just enjoy him for the one year he'll be here instead of finding some angle or #HotTake to fight over?

I don't see how anyone would think otherwise at this point.

This is the best offense in school history and Cam is re-writing all our single season passing records. Plus he's positioned himself as a lock to be a Heisman finalist and is a real candidate to go #1 in the draft.

We're very lucky to have him playing for us

I’ve seen all the greats play in person including Kelly. We’ve never had a QB that can do the things he can do, period. We’ve had several great ones, but his skill set is the best of them all.

Now get off my lawn!
Completely agree.

Vinny, Jim, and Bernie were all better. Different era, but let’s not get crazy.
Not true. Vinny could move some and has arms but had a more talented team, but yet couldn’t bring us back against Penn State. With Cam, no way we lose that game. Jim doesn’t have the wheels Cam has but has arms. Bernie doesn’t have the wheels and arms of Cam, but has the smarts. Cam has it all. Wheels, arms, smarts, leadership, he is the alpha of the whole team, not just the offense. Cam is the best QB in Miami history regardless of generation. Cam is a true generational QB talent. Next year we will realize how spoilt we’re under Cam.

How do you come to this conclusion. All good. But why better. Maybe Bernie and Jim. All Vinny did was **** the bed in 2 NC games.
Not knocking Cam at all but he hasn't won a Heisman (yet) and hasn't played in ANY NC games...
Cam is great and glad we have him for a year but we got 7 or so more games to go yet...

I agree with you. Of the three he listed that he said were definitely better, Bernie was the only one to win a title (and was primary reason for it) and Jim was an NFL star. That was why I said what I said. We will know more when the season ends. BTW I don't think a title is required (ie Marino). Some things are out of your control. Vinny cost us two titles and won 0 so he is ineligible to ever be considered the best. I can care less about the Heisman.
