benching seniors starting with morris.

I would love to see if Williams can spark the offense and provide some consistency.

Ryan Williams wouldnt do anything and all you are going to do is start blaming him for all of this teams problems like you do Morris.

if you had an actual clue then you would be able to realize that this defense is causing this offense more problems then anything else, then you would find it retarded like i do to constantly chirp about starting Ryan Williams.

**** I'm so don't with Morris I'm willing to throw Olsen in the fire if Williams **** the bed against dook

Ive been on record saying that the season hinged on the FSU and Va Tech games. IF we drop both games, THEN it would time for a change at QB, even if only for a game.

We're now at that point. It's time to sit Stephen Morris for the Dook game. If Williams cant show improvement @ Dook, then I'd have no problem going back to Morris. But again, at this point, we need to shift from maximizing this season to managing the longer term aspects of the program. WIlliams will enter the spring as the #1 QB. He should get a quality start this season at this point.

Think about the message you would be sending to your team. Miami only has two losses on the season at 7-2. We have really good chance based on our schedule to finish 10-2. You guys are not thinking about all the hard work these young men have put in. These young men could have left the program or transferred but they stuck around. They are on pace to have a wonderful season. There reward for standing by UM under the dark cloud of sanctions is to bench them?

You guys are extremely ungrateful. If you include injuries we are playing with about 66 scholarship players. 11-2 or 10-3 is a huge improvement from 7-5.

What type of ******* ****** blames Morris for last night ? Kid ******* balled on a good vt defense in the pouring rain ? The **** is he supposed to do ? I just love how people on this site have been defending Morris's play last night like he did all he could do to win the game. Man that jacka$$ did all he could do to prevent us from losing but he didnt try to win this game. Johnny Manziel would have tried to WIN this game. You play the cards you were dealt. YOUR A PHUCKIN SENIOR! It was CLEAR AS PHUCKIN DAY that this D couldnt stop Vtech to save their lives. AS A SENIOR, you should know at that point that you will need to win this game IN A SHOOTOUT! It was gonna take 40 or 50 to win this one and he didnt do it.

He goes into funks for too long of period in games for me. Dont show me stats. Thats loser talk. Did we win the game? NO. Sorry. He is a loser to me. He is this eras version of Frank Costa. Sure he will leave this year being a 10 win QB but people will never acknowledge or respect that record because they know whats really behind it. Underachievement. Potentially missing YET ANOTHER ACC champ game berth when it was ours for the taking.

Should we bench him? No. But i agree that we do need to start getting ready for 2014. We gotta keep playing just in case Vtech craps the bed and loses to MD or UVA. You never know with those guys so you dont give up on season. BUT i do start givin my younger guys alot more run. **** you didnt redshirt them so mide as well put them to work. Alex Figs and Jamal Carter esp.

Comparing Morris to the best playmaker in college football in the last 25 years in silly. Not to mention they have a far better offense overall.

Do you really think this offense has the ability to put up 40-50 on VTech? Our offense has little to no creativity and is extremely predictable. Morris isn't that good but he played well last night.

I agree with your second point. Would like to see more of Figs, Carter, etc. How much worse could it be? I find it hard to believe guys would be more wide open if they were in instead of Cornelius and Highsmith. I'm not sure if that is even possible

Maybe Manziel was a bad ex. But my point was that he gets no passes from me. He isnt the sole reason we lost but he didnt do us any favors either.

Im not sure why you think our remaining games are given wins. Duke and Pitt both have winning records and we play them both on the road. We only have ONE win against a team with a winning record (Ga Tech). (Read that last sentence again)

As for ungrateful, lets turn it around: Why are YOU so ungrateful towards Ryan Williams as to not allow him a legit opportunity when the guy ahead of him cannot get it done? Ryan Williams worked very hard since he's been on campus. Think about the message that sends to both Brad Kaaya and Kevin Olson. Once the coaches pick a starter, that's it forever. Is this the message you want sent? Larry Coker sent that message.

B] would send a terrible message to the rest of the team[/B].. al needs to bench that defensive scheme which he is unwilling to alter/ adapt to the opponent..

What, that getting blown out by bad teams is not OK? That not competing for the Coastal when it's the worst conference division in the BCS is OK? That being a senior and sucking is OK?

Ryan Williams received a fair shot to win the starting job in spring and fall camp. Morris was not available for spring camp because of surgery. This was the time where Williams could have separated himself and show the coaches his skill set.

I thank you for articulating your support of the larry coker method of roster management. We'll have to agree to disagree. Im of the opinion that no starting job is written in stone for an entire season simply because of the result of a spring battle.

Morris played like ****. He got 170 yds on 2 passes. One on a WR screen. Coley did all the **** work on that one. Then he got plenty yards in garbage time. Was bailed out on a horrible throw with a roughing the passer call. I'm not sure some people actually watch the game. Stats lie they ******* *** off
