I would love to see if Williams can spark the offense and provide some consistency.

God ****, what has happened to this board.
God ****, what has happened to this board.
Back to back crushing defeats?
Ive been on record saying that the season hinged on the FSU and Va Tech games. IF we drop both games, THEN it would time for a change at QB, even if only for a game.
We're now at that point. It's time to sit Stephen Morris for the Dook game. If Williams cant show improvement @ Dook, then I'd have no problem going back to Morris. But again, at this point, we need to shift from maximizing this season to managing the longer term aspects of the program. WIlliams will enter the spring as the #1 QB. He should get a quality start this season at this point.
Replace the seniors NOW
morris - williams
clements - edwards
hagens - tucker
hurns - gets to keep his spot
asante - dobard
linder - gall
wheeler - gadbois
seantrel - bunche
shayon - gets to keep playing
porter - moore
renfrow - king
gilbert - kamalu
luther - hamilton
gaines - kirby
cornelius - fig
highsmith - bush
o'donnell - barnard
Haha

Think about the message you would be sending to your team. Miami only has two losses on the season at 7-2. We have really good chance based on our schedule to finish 10-2. You guys are not thinking about all the hard work these young men have put in. These young men could have left the program or transferred but they stuck around. They are on pace to have a wonderful season. There reward for standing by UM under the dark cloud of sanctions is to bench them?
You guys are extremely ungrateful. If you include injuries we are playing with about 66 scholarship players. 11-2 or 10-3 is a huge improvement from 7-5.
B] would send a terrible message to the rest of the team[/B].. al needs to bench that defensive scheme which he is unwilling to alter/ adapt to the opponent..

Im not sure why you think our remaining games are given wins. Duke and Pitt both have winning records and we play them both on the road. We only have ONE win against a team with a winning record (Ga Tech). (Read that last sentence again)
As for ungrateful, lets turn it around: Why are YOU so ungrateful towards Ryan Williams as to not allow him a legit opportunity when the guy ahead of him cannot get it done? Ryan Williams worked very hard since he's been on campus. Think about the message that sends to both Brad Kaaya and Kevin Olson. Once the coaches pick a starter, that's it forever. Is this the message you want sent? Larry Coker sent that message.

Ryan Williams received a fair shot to win the starting job in spring and fall camp. Morris was not available for spring camp because of surgery. This was the time where Williams could have separated himself and show the coaches his skill set.
