Ben Roberts 4* Oregon Transfer DT/NT would be an ideal interior dline addition to UM as a both a depth provider in 2024 and then in 2025 as a transition NT starter once all the 2024 seniors leave. At 6'2" and 320lbs he is just what UM needs as icing on the transfer portal additions cake. He originally committed to Coach Cristobal and Salave'a when they were at Oregon.

He get kicked out by Harmon basically? Some of their projected depth charts showed him as the potential starter at NT.

That would complete the DL with Baron. Our front seven would be as good or better than anyone we play.

Meesh, Porter and Hill with proven productivity in the backfield, Brown, plus Harris, Williams and Patterson are a solid if not disruptive DB group.

Really hope we make this happen. This would be the final piece needed for a playoff caliber front 7. Adding Baron would be gravy IMO as I am high on our end players and think even without him we are going to get really good production from one of the younger guys in addition to Bain, Mesidor and Alston.

I’ll speak for a lot of posters here, myself included, that know nothing about if this kid is any good or not

Since he’s an available DT and 320, he’s a “must get”, and Mario must do whatever it takes to “make this happen.”

Maybe he was the surprise visitor. One can only hope. If you give me the choice between a deep defensive line or another corner, I'm taking the defensive line. An elite DL always makes a secondary better.
