Before you jump off a balcony

To me it's not the loss. It's the loss to a team that was ran the same couple of plays over and over again. Just sick of being woefully outcoached week in and week out.

Season isn’t over but changes need to be made defensively. I’m not even upset just disappointed. Most of us expected a loss at some point but it’s the way we lost
It’s always the way we lose. Give me a “good loss” in the last 5-7 years. We are mostly more talented than most teams, so it feels like we should win most of the time.

The human element means we will drop games, like most teams, which is fine, but our record over the last 5 has been bad and our record against top 25 has been every worse.

Not a huge point to all my rambling here. Just that we take a loss and move on.

Let’s see how the season plays out. Have faith. Don’t be a bunch of whiny b*****s
Lol soft ****** ****. This team has a bunch of soft ******* on it. OJ and Barrow are the only ones worth a **** on defense. Ward is a ******* idiot who plays street ball.

I hope I’m wrong, but even with a loss and what should be a wake up call, I don’t see our D getting magically better. I foolishly hoped for that the past few weeks and if anything they have gotten worse. I also don’t trust Guidry to fix anything.
That’s the thing. Our offense had an off day. Our defense just had a worse day than their usual standard

Every team is allowed to lose a game. Especially teams that aren’t stacked.
My issue is the fact that for sever weeks we’ve seen alarming issues in defense and they weren’t addressed or we don’t have the talent to overcome or mask the deficiencies.
More worrisome imo was the fact that our offense has looked horrible.
We couldn’t pass against fsu, needed 4th quarter heroics to move it against Duke. And couldn’t get it going against gt. Couldn’t stop a one dimensional offense full of 3 star recruits and a qb with one arm.

Today looked like a team that’s getting worse instead of getting better.

Losing a game happens to the best of teams.

But letting a negative pattern or a trend continue to permeate a position group is not a hallmark of one. Loki g worse in week 9 than in week one isn’t a good sign either.

We would get boat raced against a lot of the remaining playoff teams.

So, here we are 20 years later losing to teams we have no business losing too. Year after year we see less than mediocre teams look stellar against us, never mind the fact that GT had 2 QBs that were hurt and they still managed to go right down the field at times, we constantly gave up the edge without making any adjustments to that, our coaches looked absolutely lackadaisical on the sidelines, no fire at all, only fire I saw was Cristobal running his best 40 ever to call a timeout, it’s often said that teams take the identity of their coaches. Just watch other games today and tell me what the difference is between them and Miami.
Amen. Is asking this team to look a little better from week to week too much? It seems that we've been waiting for this for over 15 years. Now, once again, they're heading toward the end of the season and playing like crap.
