Beau IS A CANE

Carroll really needs this commit. He hasn't reeled in a big time recruit. He is the tight ends coach and needs to reel him in.

Jalen Grimble

cant think of any others he has been responsible for bringing in.

Isn't he the national recruiting coordinator, pcity? I'd say he plays a role in a lot of what goes on outside the state.

Supposed to be, Franchise... but individually Carroll has only sealed the deal with Grimble. He is supposed to have major ties to the west coast and that was supposed to help us out that way, but has yet to come to fruition. Not saying Carroll isnt doing a great job, because I dont know, but what I do know is that the guys that Carroll has gone after and he was the main recruiter for the kid, he has yet to get the job done.

You're not wrong but if you've followed his recruitment its easy to see why ASU is favored. Just gotta find out if we did enough now.

SANDLAND TO DECIDE ON WEDNESDAY

Beau Sandland, a 6-6, 250-pound tight end from Pierce Community College in Southern California, expects to announce his decision Wednesday, the first day mid-year junior-college players can sign. ASU, Miami and Nebraska are in his final three.

Sandland said Monday he has a “pretty good idea in his head” of where he’ll end up, but added that he still wanted to go over everything one final time with family. Sandland had planned to visit ASU unofficially last weekend with his mom, but canceled. He said not much should be read into that; the timing just couldn’t be worked out.

“She hasn’t been anywhere,” Sandland said, referring to Miami and Nebraska.

Among the factors in his decision: Playing time, offensive system, relationship with position coach and chances to reach the NFL. Sandland also said that Chris Coyle’s return also is something he has had to weigh. Coyle, ASU’s leading receiver at tight end, figures to be a signifcant contributor in next year’s offense.
